Title: Account Manager

Position Overview:

+ Delivers exceptional service to our Insurance / Workers Compensation clients; successfully advocates for client needs with the internal Conduent community

+ Provides service delivery leadership, including overseeing new client implementations, championing systems changes requested by clients, and researching critical client issues and questions

+ Maintains and increases client revenue by building relationships across the client organization, understanding client needs and introducing benefits of relevant Conduent solutions; successfully meets revenue and product growth goals

+ Maintains quarterly business plans for each key client, addressing projected revenue increases, sources of such increases, solution enhancements; prepares timeframe and strategy to accomplish these goals.

+ Performs regular analyses of client volume and Conduent performance relative to service level agreements; communicates feedback to Manager and other internal groups; addresses deficiencies found to ensure Service Level Agreements are maintained at targeted levels.

+ Ensures successful execution of billing and contract administration, proactively resolving issues and addressing potential concerns.

+ Properly documents customer issues and resolutions keeping the customer aware of progress to resolve the issue and the ability to meet commitments.

+ Coordinates and leads conference calls as required addressing client or internal Conduent issues; documents action items and deliverables to all attendees.

+ Prepares presentations and other materials for use in client meetings and calls

+ Conducts client site visits to address/review pending issues, program performance, and client cost savings and to grow the Conduent relationship

+ Develops and maintains effective working relationships with other departments; collaborates with other departments to facilitate timely resolution of client concerns or issues.

+ Partners with the marketing team to identify client opportunities and shape marketing plans to help realize those opportunities

+ Assists and cooperates with coworkers, supervisor and management; maintains positive morale within the unit by motivating and supporting staff.

+ Manages confidential client, financial and employee information with discretion and good judgment in accordance with department and Company guidelines.

+ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state of the art practices; participating in professional societies.

+ Attend to attend trade shows and user conferences as required

+ Responds to and resolves all assigned account issues/problems and cases within Conduent's defined response/resolution requirements or contractual obligations.

+ Receives a satisfactory rating from customer satisfaction survey.

+ Demonstrates a dependable work ethic and meets or exceeds quality of work standards and procedures as defined in departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

+ Demonstrates supervisory skills to successfully manage a small staff or cross-functional team

+ Other duties as assigned.


+ Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree in business, technology, or communications preferred.

+ Experience in a professional capacity in the insurance and/or workers compensation industry.

+ Experience in an account management or client management role. Would consider background in sales, vendor management or consulting.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build rapport and influence with clients and associates.

+ Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to build a strong working knowledge of Company products, department policies, procedures and generally accepted account management practices.

+ Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.

+ Demonstrated expertise in service planning and customer advocacy.

+ Demonstrated business planning and writing skills.

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

+ Highly effective oral, written and presentation skills

+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously.

+ Proficiency with leading business productivity technology applications like Microsoft Office and related applications

+ Ability to travel and work as needed to meet Company objectives.
